Alessandra Simonelli was appointed Head of Sustainable development at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg in 2020. She is responsible for the definition and the execution of BIL Group’s sustainable strategy.

Alessandra joined BIL in 2017 as Head of Customer Journey and Product Development. Prior to joining BIL, she worked for 17 years at BGL BNP Paribas in a variety of senior roles, including Head of Marketing and Head of the Online bank.

Alessandra Simonelli is the Chairman of Luxembourg Bankers Association (ABBL) Sustainability Committee.
She holds a master’s degree in management and marketing from Université Paris Dauphine, and an MBA from Ottawa University.
